Iβm Stacey Barnes,
Cancer sun β’ Cancer Moon β’ Sag rising
I walk alongside women who are ready to come home to themselves with honesty, compassion, and emotional integrity.
This space is for the woman who knows there is more, more truth, more softness, more self-trust and is ready to meet herself there.
Who I Am and How I Work
As a certified womenβs life coach, I hold space that is grounded, reflective, and deeply human. I do not believe in fixing or force. I believe in listening to the body, the heart, and the quiet wisdom that lives beneath old patterns and self-protection.
My work centers emotional attunement, self-worth, and embodied awareness. Together, we slow things down enough for clarity to arise, for truth to be felt, and for choice to return.
My why
Iβve always been deeply sensitive. For many years, that sensitivity felt like something to manage, protect, or hide β often misunderstood, and most of all, misunderstood by myself.
At 33, during my first solo therapy session, I was asked a question that quietly changed everything:,
βWhen did you lose my self-worthβ?
Until then, I had been living behind carefully constructed armor. Armor made of control, perfectionism, and outward achievement, all in an effort to protect my tender interior. Over time, that armor stopped protecting me and became its own form of imprisonment. I was disconnected from myself, and I knew something needed to change.
In my early thirties, I realized that seeking validation externally could no longer sustain me. The work had to turn inward.
I also knew I couldnβt do it alone.
I knew in my heart that this inward work was not a solo job, I needed help, guidance from a professional. This was the first steep I took into self-accountability, self-love, self-curiosity, and self-healing journey. With the support of therapists and energetic guides, I began a journey rooted in self-accountability, self-curiosity, and self-love. I became aware of the limiting beliefs and behavioral patterns that had kept me small. I began reparenting my inner child. I learned to honor my sensitivity β not as a hindrance, but as a source of wisdom β and to build a healthy, regulated relationship with my emotions.
What started as a whisper slowly became an inner knowing. Years into my healing work, that knowing began to guide inspired action and a deep sense of purpose.
I came to understand that I am here to hold space, to offer support within a safe, reflective container where others can meet themselves with honesty and care.
To deepen my capacity to serve, I enrolled in an integrative wellness coaching program in 2021 and received my life coaching certification through Zura Health Academy in 2022. This formal training strengthened the foundation beneath work that was already alive within me.
With an intuitive and empathetic heart, I bring deep presence, compassion, and intimacy to the spaces I hold. I am especially drawn to one-on-one and small group settings, where women are supported to show up fully, without performance, without pressure.
It is one of my greatest honors to offer OnWord Journeys Life Coaching Services, working one-on-one with women in a safe, non-judgmental, reflective space.
βWhere vulnerability is strength, and authentic expansion becomes not just possible, but inevitable.β
My Values
01
AUTHENTICITY
I choose to show up fully in my truth and embrace my authentic code. In doing so I honor my personal essence and offer my clients permission to show up and own theirs. From this deeply truthful place I offer my clients opportunities to get more comfortable with who they are and empower them to fully accept, embrace, and embody their own authentic essence, code, and core.
02
OPEN-HEARTED CURIOSITY
Based on a foundation of genuine curiosity I create space and arrive in sessions with my heart open and with integral non judgment where clients can safely traverse their inner landscapes and express themselves without abandon. Expression offers space for connection, creativity and allows our feelings and voices to have purpose.
03
COMPASSION
I combine self awareness with empathy to create a warm container with healthy space between me and my clients. Without becoming enmeshed with their feelings or their experiences I lovingly, and from a place of non judgment, help them move through and express their feelings and emotions.
My Entrepreneurial Journeys
Entrepreneurship has always been a connective heart pull for me, not driven by ambition alone, but by an intuitive, creative, and deeply embodied way of seeing, feeling, and building. The first chapter of my entrepreneurial journey unfolded in the fashion industry, where I worked as a model for fifteen years. Living and working across major cities, I learned early how identity, visibility, resilience, and self-trust intersect, lessons that would quietly shape everything that followed.
The second chapter was one of the most meaningful of my life.
For fifteen years, I was co-owner and Vice President of Goodytwos Toffee Company, a business I co-founded alongside my mother, Donna Hansen, in Scottsdale, Arizona. What began as a small-batch, handcrafted toffee inspired by a cherished family recipe grew through community support, devotion to quality, and heart-led leadership.
We started at local farmersβ markets, offering samples and building relationships one conversation at a time. Over time, Goodytwos expanded into corporate gifting, e-commerce, and a beloved brick-and-mortar storefront. We served customers nationwide and internationally, navigating growth, uncertainty, and change with grit, grace, and care.
Our journey was marked by both peaks and valleys, the kind that require adaptability, emotional resilience, and trust. Along the way, we were featured on the Cooking Channelβs Food Crafters, and our mother-daughter story was shared in numerous publications celebrating our βdoubly inspiredβ toffees, crafted with what we lovingly called vitamin L-O-V-E.
In 2021, we sold Goodytwos to longtime corporate clients who shared our values and vision, allowing the brand to continue under new stewardship. Passing the torch was both tender and empoweringβ¦ a reminder that endings can be as meaningful as beginnings. A few years before we sold Goodytwos, I felt the stirring, I knew it was time to begin stepping into the next chapter of my life. One that aligned deeply with my heartβs passion, purpose and values.
By listening inward and moving intentionally, I began planting the seeds for what would become OnWord Journeys.
A practice devoted to supporting women as they navigate their inner landscape, reconnecting with their innate wisdom and heart-centered, authentic selves.
